2011 Season
We plan to conduct 2 or 3 training/certification clinics during January 2011, and will post details here as they are finalized for date, time, and place. For questions, call or write the Certification Chair, Rich Schornstein at 719-1265-1811 or kidz1023@comcast.net

2010 Season
The Colorado Association of USA Track & Field offers several clinics for officials each year; the 2010 schedule is shown below. Colorado officials are required to attend at least one officials' clinic during each four year Olympiad period in order to be certified. For full details on USATF certification for officials in Colorado, go to the "Certification Information" tab.

For officials who were not certified in 2009, we'll conduct the clinics shown below to develop and improve officials' skills, and allow us to certify or recertify our officials. We'll review rules and officiating techniques for all officials' positions for track & field, cross country/long distance running, and race walk, through presentations and practical demonstrations. We'll also cover safety issues and the certification process, and take photos for USATF ID cards. Those who don't intend to be certified are also invited to attend - high school officials, coaches, and others. The clinic cost is $10.00 per person which includes morning refreshments and handouts. The USATF certification fee of $50.00 is a one payment for the 4-year Olympiad period and it includes a 2010 USATF rule book mailed to you when they're printed in early March 2010. We'll have rule books available for purchase at the clinic - 2009/2010 NCAA ($10), and 2009 NFSHSA ($8).
